Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ReviewMyProf, operated by ReviewMyProf LLC. By using the service or purchasing a pass, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
About the service
ReviewMyProf is an independent directory and review service. It is not an official university evaluation system and is not affiliated with a school simply because that school appears in the directory. Reviews reflect individual experiences. Profiles, courses, teaching assignments, and review availability can change. We do not guarantee the accuracy of every entry or any particular academic outcome.
Accounts
Use an email address you control and protect access to it. Login codes should not be shared. You are responsible for activity on your account. Your username may be displayed publicly. Do not impersonate another person or use an abusive or misleading username.
The semester pass
A semester pass costs $9.99 USD for 120 days. It is a one-time purchase with no automatic renewal. Access starts after payment is confirmed. Any applicable tax is shown before you pay.
A pass provides personal access to the written reviews available on ReviewMyProf during its active period. It does not guarantee reviews for every professor or school, a minimum number of reviews, or that a particular review will remain available. You can check your pass expiration and payment history in your account. A later purchase is a separate purchase.
Refund policy
Semester passes are non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise. If you believe a charge is duplicated or incorrect, contact us through the Help Center so we can investigate. This policy does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Responsible use
Do not misuse the service, bypass access restrictions, share paid access, interfere with security, or use the site to harass, threaten, impersonate, or expose someone’s private information. Do not submit unlawful content or content that infringes another person’s rights.
If you submit reviews or other content, share your own experience, distinguish opinions from factual claims, and avoid personal attacks and private information. You are responsible for the content you provide. You retain your rights in your content and give ReviewMyProf LLC permission to store, reproduce, display, and moderate it as needed to operate the service.
Moderation and access
We may review, correct, or remove content and restrict accounts for abuse, security concerns, or violations of these terms. Payment does not buy control over ratings or exemption from moderation. You can report concerns through our contact form. Review availability and site features may change as we maintain the service.
Site content
Our branding, software, and site design are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. School names and logos belong to their respective owners. A pass grants access to the service, not ownership of its content or permission to redistribute paid review content.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep ReviewMyProf useful and available, but interruptions and errors may occur. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted access, completeness, or suitability for a particular purpose. Use reviews alongside other information when making course decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes protections or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy and updates
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information. We may update these terms and will identify the current version by its effective date. Material changes to purchase terms apply to future purchases unless otherwise required by law.
